ON-LINE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGs)

You are no longer limited to networking at Club events.

Now you can network from your home or office with other local HBS alumni who belong to the Club. Simply use our exclusive SIG website to participate in, or even moderate, an existing SIG Forum – or start a new one on a topic of particular interest to you.

You can interact with your peers on  a range of topics or areas of interest:  

Entrepreneurship.....Career Transition....Recent Graduates....New-to-Area Alums..... Industries/Markets (including Real Estate, Healthcare, Public Sector / Government).....Women Alumni.....African-American Alumni.....Work/Home Locales (including Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland, Baltimore Area)

To participate in the Special Interest Groups, you must be a club member and you must register for access. 

To register...

1. Go to http://hbsclubwdc.proboards84.com/index.cgi?action=register
2. Fill out the registration form.  Read the “Terms of Service” and select “I agree” at the bottom of the page.  Then click the button “Create Account.”
3. You will receive an e-mail notice that your account needs to be activitated.  The e-mail will provide an activation key and a link to the activation page.  Click on the highlighted link. 
4. You will be directed to the log-in screen   Enter your user name and password and click log-in. 
5. On the next page, enter your activation key in the box and click “Activate Account,” and you will then be directed back to the login page. 
6. Login with your user name and password.  A notice will inform you that your account is pending approval. 
7. After the Club’s administrator has reviewed your registration to confirm that you are a club member, you will receive an email notification that your access has been “Approved.”
